A couple of months back I planted a red variety of okra that I got from a nursery nearby. It is doing well in aquaponics, just like normal green okra plants.
We have only one plant, so never had an opportunity to cook just the red ones. At least red ones didn’t make a taste difference to our okra dishes, so I guess they taste the same (good way to assess, eh!? 🙂 ).
But it has a cool red/green mixed antique look, making it worth keeping a couple of plants around. 😉
